Worlds refer to the levels in A Dance of Fire and Ice. This article covers the officla levels of the game.

Main levels are levels that have unique world titles and have boss levels that follow the '<Number>-X' naming format[1]. The term 'Official levels' in the narrow sense refer to these levels.

Set 1 includes Worlds 1–6 and the hidden World B, containing a total of 7 worlds. This set is also the first set available for beginners to play. Completing Set 1 unlocks most other levels described below[2].

Set 2 includes Worlds 7–12, for a total of 6 worlds. The levels of Set 2 are harder than those of Set 1, but are easy enough with sufficient pratice.

Xtra levels do not have unique titles, and follow the naming format of 'World X_'.[3]
The blank is filled with a single letter, which is usually taken from the song title of the boss level. Normally, the first letter is used[4], but certain titles have overlapping first letters, causing subsequent letters to be used instead[5].

The Xtra Island contains Worlds XF through XS, for a total of 9 Xtra levels.
These levels can be played on the 'Xtra Island' that can be accessed from the starting screen by stepping on the gem tile on the top of the main menu.

Crown Island contains Worlds XO, XT and XI. This island can be unlocked by completing the aforementioned hidden world, World B from Set 1.
The levels on Crown Island are the hardest levels out of all the official levels, so it is recommended to try completing these levels after completing the other official levels and becoming sufficiently skilled.

Star Island contains three levels added as a collaboration with the rhythm game Muse Dash.
Worlds MN and ML can be completed without much difficulty if the player has completed the other official levels, but World MO is as difficult as the Crown Island levels.

Neo Cosmos, an expansion DLC for the base game, contains a total of 9 worlds: 5 main worlds and 4 EX worlds.
These levels are overall on the harder side, especially combined with exclusive mechanics, so it is recommended to try completing these levels after completing the other official levels.

Featured Levels refer to user-made custom levels chosen by the developers to be officially included as part of the game.
As of August 2024, there are a total of 43 Featured Levels.

EXiverse is a DLC made in collaboration with level creation team Team Vega, and will consist of 22+ levels with remixes of songs used in official levels.

Pictured as Perfect, Frums' entry for G2R2018, is planned to be released as an official world for A Dance of Fire and Ice.

Even before official confirmation, there have been a handful of evidence regarding this song's release:

Afterwards, the release was confirmed stating that 'it wasn't forgotten' at the Korean meetup event.#[6] However, it was also stated in the same event that 'there are mixed thoughts on it', implying that there have been issues or delays regarding the release.

This level is planned to be released as a collaboration level with the mobile rhythm game NOISZ STΔRLIVHT.

After a long period of silence ever since the collaboration with NOISZ was confirmed and No Hints Here! was added to NOISZ, a tweet on May 2024 teased the level. Additionally, a version of the level with only the track and camera effects was partially revealed at the meetup event.

As 7th Beat Games joined as a partner in Cosmic Radio 2024, a song contest held by PeroPeroGames, the developer of Muse Dash, 6 tracks have been announced to be added to A Dance of Fire and Ice, contrary to the prior meetup saying that two to three tracks were planned to be added to each game. These levels are unlikely to be fit into the Xtra Island, and might be added to a new island, or Star Island, the Muse Dash collaboration island.
